Smoothies make for great breakfast options, as well as post workout meals. After all, what’s better than starting your day with a scrumptious fill of fruits and nutrition? Here are a few super interesting post workout smoothies recipes. Have them with breakfast, or as post workout meals, as you like it!

The Chococado Smoothie


½ Avocado

150 ml Almond Milk / Soy Milk

1 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

2-3 tbsp Coconut Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla essence


Add all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Refrigerate and serve cold after a few hours.

As avocados are low in carbs and deemed as a superfood, avocado and chocolate make for a healthy and balanced drink.

The Oats-Bitsy Smoothie


½ cup instant oats or rolled oats

 cup low-fat or flavored yogurt

2 tbsp honey

3-4 almonds

1 tbsp Flaxseeds


Put everything in a blender, blend until smooth and top with berries and fruits of your choice.

Oats? It certainly does not get healthier than this.
