Running is of the most efficient ways to maintain a healthy body, maintain a happily pumping heart and keep your weight in check.
An early morning run is always good for your spirits and gives you increased energy to move through the day. Choose an area away from the pollution and traffic, someplace that can calm your senses and bring in that oxygen. You must also remember to keep in mind what you consume before you run. Running will require you to eat carbohydrate-packed foods for that increased energy.
Stick to small snacks like teacake, shakes, banana bread, Greek yoghurt, bread, etc.
You could also opt for stuff like roasted nuts, fruits, and shakes that will instantly release an enormous amount of energy for your run. Stay away from packed juices and choose fresh ones or whole fruits. Remember to keep the sugar minimal. You can also try to increase the carbohydrates in your dinner so that the energy gets stored in your muscles for your run the next day. A little caffeine in the morning will also help you along.
Always remember to stay away from foods that contain high levels of fiber content, spicy foods, too much caffeine and alcohol before your morning run.
